The CMM Engineer is responsible for dimensional inspection of components using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). The role ensures product quality, accuracy, and compliance with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Salary : 30k-35k
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
dimensional inspection
using
CMM machines
Develop and modify
CMM programs
Interpret
engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and tolerances
Conduct
first article inspection (FAI)
and routine inspections
Analyse inspection results and prepare
measurement reports
Maintain
calibration records
and inspection documentation
Support
internal and external audits
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical / Production Engineering
2-5 years of hands-on experience in
CMM inspection/programming
Experience in
automotive / manufacturing / precision components
