The Opportunity
Structured Content is at the heart of the engines powering the new age Experiences such as Chatbots, Voice Based Devices, Fluid and Omni-Channel content delivery. In Technical Communication group of Adobe, we are developing a new age Component Content Management System which powers the journey of Structured Content for large enterprises. Scale and efficiency are key here. Millions of documents are published regularly to multiple platforms and channels across the industry using this solution. We have a strong vision and we are looking for a highly motivated, technically driven and hands on leader to realize it for our product.
About the Team:
AEM Guides is a new age technology CCMS. It is used by Fortune-500 companies which publish millions of documents regularly using this product. It is a unique opportunity to work in a startup like environment within a large organization where all product functions collaborate closely with the business counterparts and with the large enterprise customers. Given the enterprise business domain and the startup nature of the team, we are growing fast and scaling the product scope and customer base at a very rapid pace.


The Challenge
We are seeking a highly motivated SDET with strong expertise in CI/CD processes to help us automate testing and integrate them directly into our continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. Your mission will be to design and maintain automated testing strategies while working closely with development, operations, and release engineering teams to ensure that our software is continuously delivered with the highest quality.


Roles & Responsibilities:
This is

an individual contributor

position. Expectations will be on the below lines:

Design & Build Automation Frameworks:

Create and enhance test automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing. The candidate should be able to suggest and implement enhancement in the current framework.

CI/CD Integration:

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) to ensure early and frequent testing. The candidate should have good experience with CI/CD tools

Collaboration:

Partner closely with development teams to ensure that quality is embedded from the start of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). He should posses strong inter-personal skill. The interaction and collaboration is not limited within team. It will be cross team most of the times.

Cloud infra understanding:

Candidate should have strong understanding of cloud infra. An experience with AWS, Azure is big plus.

Splunk and logging exposure:

Candidate should be well versed with logging tools such as Splunk

Test Data Management:

Automate test data setup and ensure consistency across test environments.

Mentor & Knowledge Sharing:

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and contribute to improving the team's technical capability.

Required Skills & Expertise:

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

: + 8+ years of experience SDET or QA Automation Engineer with a strong focus on CI/CD and cloud infra.

Testing Expertise:

Solid understanding of test automation principles and hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.

CI/CD Tools:

Extensive experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Travis CI, or Azure DevOps.

Algo and logical understanding:

Strong understanding of algorithms and DS is must.

Programming/Scripting:

Proficiency in one or more languages, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go, to create and maintain test scripts and frameworks.

Containerization:

Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for managing testing environments and deployments.

Monitoring & Logging:

Exposure to tools like ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana for monitoring CI/CD pipelines and application health.

Agile & DevOps:

Comfortable working in an Agile/DevOps environment with a focus on iterative delivery, collaboration, and automation.

Communication:

Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams, including development, DevOps, and product management.

Distributed system:

Experience in testing microservices-based architectures and understanding of distributed systems.
