Purpose of the role
The Position will be responsible for the implementation and execution of the Nutrition Analytical Maintenance Program, ensuring that product nutrition labeling is accurate and consistently meets regulatory tolerance limits. This role supports a team of labeling specialists by providing technical expertise and analytical insights to verify the compliance of nutrition facts, ingredient declarations, allergen statements, and product claims. It requires a strong foundation in regulatory standards, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making to drive continuous improvement in label accuracy and compliance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
70% of time - Technical Execution

  • Manage and execute nutritional analytical testing programs to support and verify label compliance.
  • Ensure nutrition data aligns with FDA and USDA regulations, as well as internal General Mills policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to plan sampling, coordinate lab testing, and verify results.
  • Advance the use of digital tools and analytics to improve testing workflows and compliance monitoring
Support regulatory projects, including metrics and data maintenance.
  • Work closely with Labeling & Regulatory Compliance team members to support project and business work.
15% of time - Collaboration, Consultation & Business Partnering
  • Partner with Labelling & Regulatory Compliance teams to support regulatory projects and product development.
  • Support customer and consumer communication by providing clear, regulatory-aligned responses related to labelling.
  • Integrate data from multiple systems to generate insights that inform labelling decisions.
  • Create accurate summary reports, data visualizations, and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.
10% of time - Continuous Improvement & Personal Development
  • Apply a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities for process efficiency and digital transformation.
  • Proactively seek new methods, tools, and external best practices to improve analytical processes.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of regulatory requirements, company standards, and analytical technologies.
5% of time - Administrative Responsibilities
  • Complete required documentation and participate in ongoing training related to Quality, FSQ, LRC, CI, and other programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum BS in Food /Dairy Science, Nutrition or a related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working with a team.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with global teams; self-motivated and able to work independently or in teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive projects to completion with attention to detail, maintain confidentiality, and apply creative, solution-oriented thinking.
