Role Description
Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. It may also involve taking functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments. Work includes: oPlanning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals oBuilding reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle oEnsuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions oEnsuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow oReviewing engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability oParticipating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools and solutions in the Bank

Your key responsibilities

• Design and develop Qlik Sense dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
• Experience in Architecting /Designing Multi Node Qlik Sense or Qlik View Environment
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Optimize Qlik applications for performance and usability.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all BI solutions.
• Conduct IT validation & UAT of Qlik applications before delivery.
• Provide on-going support and troubleshooting for reported issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest Qlik technologies and industry trends.
• Keeping project on track, providing solutions & ensuring delivery goals are met.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
• 15-20 years of experience in designing and developing BI solutions primarily using Qlik Platform.
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data from multiple sources (like Databases, APIs, flat files) using Qlik Sense scripting, creating raw/intermediate QVDs for interactive dashboards & reporting solutions.
• QMC experience on creating tasks, triggers, scheduling and publishing the apps.
• Experience in setting up multi-node Qlik Site (installation and configuration of multi node).
• Monitoring of the jobs that are in production and taking necessary action when there are any issues.
• Worked on Qlik NPrinting module for designing and implementing various schedule & on-demand reporting templates.
• Ensure that development follows Qlik best practices, including data modelling, data governance, data security, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience as a BI Subject Matter Expert, Architect, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concept.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Expertise in Qlik On-Premises and Cloud based platform.
• Experience of leading BI team of 5 Qlik Sense developers.
• Good to have knowledge on other BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker.
