Roles & Responsibilities The Physical Design team is part of the Design and Customer Experience team in the organisation and is responsible for conceptualising, designing, prototyping, and manufacturing the next generation of Mixed Reality devices that will be used by millions of users globally in the coming years. The team works closely with electrical, optical, systems, mechanical design, and manufacturing teams to design quality, high-volume, consumer products that our customers love. The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for establishing, maintaining and evaluating Quality Standards and Guidelines for all physical products right from concept, prototype, design phase, manufacturing all the way to post-manufacturing and customer feedback phase. In-depth technical knowledge of mechanical engineering, materials, engineering and manufacturing processes are a must have requirement to be effective in this role. Your quality check standards and processes will guide the overall production, assembly, manufacturing and in turn the overall customer experience that the users of our Mixed Reality products receive globally.

  Designed and developed consumer hardware products launched at scale.
• 
  
  Participated in the development of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for large complex systems.
• 
  
  Utilized quality systems expertise by assisting in continuous improvement activities throughout the product lifecycle management (PLM) considerations.
• 
  
  Worked in an inter-disciplinary environment comprising of product designers, industrial designers, electronics and mechanical engineers to deliver consumer products at scale through design and development using CAD softwares and tools.

  Designed, executed, and managed tests to collect statistically significant data to ensure technical specifications and product requirements are met
• 
  
  Responsible for ensuring that Quality System is followed in all daily activities.
• 
  
  Actively participated to the design verification process within the team.

Job Specification

• 
  Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Design, Quality Control or relevant field.
• 
  
  Should have total 8+ years of experience in managing a certified quality management system.
• 
  
  Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor
• 
  
  Experience with QA measuring and testing equipment
• 
  
  Knowledge of safety requirements and legal standards
• 
  
  Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• 
  
  Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• 
  
  Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice
