Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled

Python Lead Developer

with extensive experience in backend development, API integration, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with modern Python frameworks. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence, leading a team of developers, and delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend solutions using

Python

. Oversee and mentor a team of developers, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and testing. Develop and maintain

RESTful APIs

using frameworks like

Django, Flask, or FastAPI

. Manage

database design and integration

with both

SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

and

NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)

systems. Work with

cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

for deployment, automation, and scaling. Implement robust

unit and integration testing

to ensure code reliability. Manage

API documentation

and integration using tools like

Swagger/OpenAPI

or

Axway

. Ensure secure configurations using tools such as

Conjur

or

CyberArk Privileged Access Security

. Utilize

Python libraries for PDF generation and manipulation

(PyPDF2, ReportLab, pikepdf). Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and manage tasks via

Project Management tools

(e.g., Jira, Trello). Conduct

root cause analysis

and implement effective long-term solutions to critical issues. Collaborate cross-functionally to design and implement scalable architectures and integrations.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

9+ years

of hands-on Python development experience. Strong understanding of

OOP principles

,

data structures

, and

algorithms

. Proven experience in

API design

,

microservices

, and

secure development practices

. Expertise with

Git version control

and

Agile/Scrum

methodologies. Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with

Docker

and

Kubernetes

for containerization and deployment. Knowledge of

CI/CD pipelines

and modern DevOps practices. Familiarity with

monitoring and logging tools

(e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack). Experience working in

Healthcare IT

environments and understanding of

HIPAA

compliance standards.
