About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled Python Developer with strong fundamentals and hands-on experience in FastAPI, GCP deployments, and cloud-native microservices.
The ideal candidate will lead backend service design, deploy scalable applications on GCP/Kubernetes, and integrate real-time data streams using Kafka.
You'll collaborate across QA, DevOps, and Product teams while mentoring developers and driving engineering best practices in code quality, observability, and reliability.

Must-Have Skills:

Python (Concurrency, Logging, Modularity): Hands-on with asyncio, threading, modular architecture, structured logging, and graceful shutdowns. REST API Development (FastAPI preferred):
Strong experience building RESTful APIs with route separation, validation, and OpenAPI specs. Flask/Django REST exposure acceptable.

Cloud Platform (GCP preferred):
Deployed microservices using App Engine, Cloud Run, or GKE. Familiar with IAM, Stackdriver, and service-to-service authentication.Worked with consumers/producers, partitioning, retries, and offset management.Experience in containerization, multi-stage Dockerfiles, environment configs, and basic Kubernetes manifests.Led code reviews, mentored team members, and enforced modular, scalable coding standards.Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.Good to Have:

Kafka (Streaming Pipelines): Docker & Kubernetes (GKE): Code Reviews & Mentorship: CS Fundamentals: FIX/FIXP-SBE Protocol exposure (trading/order-routing systems) Helm chart deployment (values.yaml customization) AI productivity tools (Copilot, ChatGPT for refactoring/log analysis) BFSI / Trading system experience AI/ML observability and anomaly detection exposure
