We are looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer who is passionate about building robust backend systems and scalable APIs to support enterprise-grade fintech solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django).
Build, optimize, and manage RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and external systems.
Implement efficient database models and queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB).
Collaborate with DevOps for deployment, monitoring, and optimization in the AWS environment.
Ensure high standards of code quality, security, and scalability across services.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration practices.
Work closely with cross-functional teams -- Product, Frontend, and QA -- to deliver high-quality solutions.
Contribute to the design of microservices architecture and backend workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django).
Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT).
Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with microservices architecture, message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), and caching mechanisms.
Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working in Agile environments with Git-based version control.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail and performance.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
Exposure to AWS Cloud Services (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch).
Knowledge of asynchronous programming (asyncio, Celery).
Basic understanding of AI/ML model integration in production.
Experience in the FinTech or Banking domain is a plus.
