Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies for lubricant manufacturing. Ensure cost-effective, timely, and quality sourcing while maintaining strong vendor relationships and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with production and business needs. Source and negotiate with suppliers for base oils, additives, packaging materials, and consumables. Evaluate supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery, compliance). Maintain vendor database and establish long-term partnerships. Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and alternative sourcing options. Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery to meet production schedules. Coordinate with production, quality, and warehouse teams for material requirements. Ensure compliance with statutory and safety requirements. Track and control procurement budgets, cost savings, and lead times. Handle import documentation and liaise with logistics for international sourcing.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Knowledge of lubricant raw materials and packaging. Vendor management & contract handling. Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems and MS Excel. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Qualification & Experience:

Graduate in Commerce/Science/Engineering (MBA in Supply Chain preferred). 6-10 years' experience in procurement/purchase, preferably in lubricants, petrochemicals. Knowledge of import/export procedures is an advantage.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
