Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors for goods and services.
Handle end-to-end purchase cycle: requisition, quotation, negotiation, purchase order, follow-up, and delivery.
Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships and evaluate their performance periodically.
Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, machinery, or other operational requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Accounts, Logistics, etc.) to understand purchase needs.
Maintain purchase records, price databases, and supplier agreements for audit and reference.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders accordingly to avoid stockouts.
Stay updated with market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new vendors.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
4-7 years of experience in purchase/procurement (manufacturing/engineering/retail industry preferred).
Proven track record in vendor development and cost-saving initiatives.
