Senior Proposal Engineer(WTP)

Experience: 10+ yrs ( previous experience from water treatment industry preferred)

Location: Aundh, Pune

:

Technical Support to Business Development activities


Prepare timely budgetary proposals for customer presentations, necessary to gain and maintain

Customer engagement.


Undertake concept design, cost estimation, budget document preparation as a part of above.


Interact with Innovations, Engineering, Operations and Projects teams to improve and develop process

solutions, concept designs and budgetary pricing.


Actively participate in on-line client meetings, primarily to provide technical support to the field sales staff and solve Customer problems by applying experience and technical training.


Keep abreast with the company's products and solutions range in terms of technical as well as cost.


Follow sales and pipeline data to support strategic decision making.


Follow and support the development of design guidelines, principles, and procedures.


Respond to Customers within Quality Assurance Standards.


Work within the quality system regarding supplier performance and as a basis for system improvement.


Interact positively with the mostly remote team as part of the management of time and resources, and to

ultimately increase market share.

Development of proposals and bid process


When acting as bid lead, develop and manage bid plan to ensure timely proposal submission while following internal bid development process requirements and deliver on it


Develop Proposals that are compliant with the Tender Development and Approval Procedure.


Detailed review of customer requirements in terms of scope of work, technical and documentation

Requirements.


Complete detailed review of engineering specifications, make recommendations on deviations/bid strategy and complete technical clarifications register.


Develop conceptual Design Documentation including:

o PFDs, P&IDs, Layouts

o Preliminary Bills of Materials,

o Electrical load lists and prelim control lists


Develop appropriate tender documentation including process descriptions, technical specifications, and

technical schedules.


Work with the Estimator to prepare RFQs, review supplier quotes and compliance, and develop accurate

costs for the project.


Work with the Projects, Engineering, Innovation and Operations Teams to develop accurate project

management, detailed engineering and O&M costs where required for the proposals.


Actively participate in Risk Assessment as required for the specific project contributing mainly on technical clarifications.


Write proposals and related technical documents.


Provide technical support to post-submission customer presentations, clarifications, and negotiations.


Facilitate internal documents hand-over to Projects and project kick-off meetings.


When acting as reviewer, complete thorough review of the technical proposal including Design form, Design drawings and proposal documents.

Experience / Knowledge


10 years' experience in process design within the water treatment industry.


Extensive knowledge of water treatment technologies and membrane filtration technologies.


Experienced in providing Process/Proposals support to Sales and/or Projects teams.


Experience in reviewing and applying engineering standards, particularly international ones


Experience providing Proposals support to international offices/locations.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
