Responsibilities

Proposal Leadership: Lead the end-to-end development of technical and commercial proposals (or bids/tenders) in response to client Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or inquiries. Technical Design & Scope: Analyze client specifications and tender documents to determine the optimal wastewater treatment solution (e.g., STP, ETP, ZLD, RO, UF, MBR, MBBR, etc.), including process design, plant layout, and preliminary P&IDs. Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive cost estimates, including equipment, materials, manpower, engineering, and commissioning costs. This involves coordinating with procurement for vendor quotes. Technical Writing: Create clear, persuasive, and technically accurate proposal documents, reports, and specifications that articulate the proposed solution's benefits and value. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales/Business Development, Process Engineering, Project Management, and Procurement, to ensure the proposal is cohesive and deliverable. Client Engagement: Participate in client clarification meetings, pre-bid discussions, and proposal presentations to understand their needs and defend the proposed solution. Risk Management: Identify technical, commercial, and schedule risks associated with the proposal and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. Compliance: Ensure the proposal complies with all client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory mandates. Proposal Writing & Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for creating complex technical narratives and presenting to clients. Analytical & Estimation: Strong analytical ability to assess technical requirements, perform design calculations, and develop accurate cost models. Project Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to lead the proposal process and meet strict deadlines. Commercial Acumen: Understanding of contract terms, commercial risks, and business strategy to craft profitable and competitive proposals. Deep understanding of various wastewater treatment processes (biological, physical/chemical, membrane technologies) and equipment
