Evaluating project engineering designs and tracking project completion within budget and scheduling constraints. Reviewing reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address execution problems. Participating in the development of project schedules, work plans, technical estimates, and design documents. Monitoring project health, safety and integrity through compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Sustaining Engineering projects following the Sustaining Engineering processes, with a focus on managing Value Engineering, Transfer & Change projects in Serial Life (post Start of Production) Maintain project data in TE Project to achieve Industrial Business Unit data integrity goals Ensure project progress and deliverables are achieved across all business functions to ensure compliance with Stage Gate process Work with global project core teams to develop a project schedule and drive the project to meet that schedule Work with the global project core teams to develop a project budget and drive the project to meet that budget Work with Industrial Engineering to develop project P&Ls (Profit and Loss Calculations) and Budgetary Appropriation Requests to support capital expenditures Update/communicate status of projects to Project Approval Committee (PAC) Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Finance and Operations to make sure committed New Product Sales (NPS) are achieved, committed cost savings are recorded and delivered upon Contribute to or lead overall continuous improvement initiatives to address systemic issues in the new product development process

Engineering degree, preferably additional business administration background Ability to manage global project teams with key functions in multiple regions Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities Experience in requirements evaluation, scheduling, and solving resource issues Proven leadership in a matrix organization, able to lead by influence without authority Integrative thinking and analytical skills
