Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Planning Coordinator to support the planning, organization, and daily management of test activities for high-speed data connectors and power connection solutions.
This role works closely with the Test Planning Manager, Test Engineers, Program Managers, and Lab Technicians to ensure that test plans, sample requirements, equipment reservations, and schedules are executed smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to coordinate multiple engineering programs simultaneously.
Job Requirements
Test Plan Coordination

• Assist in preparing and maintaining test plans, validation matrices, and checklist documents.
• Ensure test plans are complete, updated, and aligned with program milestones.
• Track status of test activities, sample readiness, and equipment allocations.
• Test Setup Preparation: Plan for test setups preparation, including soldering, wiring harness assembly, and integration of Devices Under Test (DUTs) into fixtures, ensuring adherence to test procedures and standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers and cross-functional team members to identify and resolve technical problems encountered during testing.
• Reporting and Communication: Provide clear and concise reports on test outcomes, actively participating in team meetings to discuss results and insights.

Dashboard & Documentation Support

• Update and maintain the test planning dashboard with Project status, Test Procedures, Equipment Availability, Sample Quantities & Readiness, Test Progress and Completion Milestones
• Ensure accurate data entry and timely reporting to the Test Planning Manager.

Sample & Equipment Coordination

• Manage sample tracking: receipts, labeling, storage, distribution, and return to owners.
• Coordinate equipment reservations and ensure test setups are properly scheduled.
• Track consumables, accessories, and fixture availability for test activities.

Cross-Functional Communication

• Serve as a communication link between engineering teams, lab technicians, and program management. Communicate changes in schedules, delays, or resource constraints.
• Support preparation of reports for reviews and leadership updates

Process & Operational Support

• Identify planning bottlenecks and propose improvements. Support audits, documentation reviews, and compliance checks.
• Help streamline workflows for test readiness and lab operations.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering coordination, test planning, program coordination, or lab operations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good understanding of engineering documentation and testing processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI or similar planning tools.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Experience in high-speed connector testing, power electronics testing, or ATE systems.
• Familiarity with engineering lab workflows and instrumentation.
• Experience with dashboards, databases, or reporting tools.
• Exposure to industry standards used for electrical and mechanical qualification.
