Sr. Project Manager (Civil)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a Civil Engineering background to oversee the end-to-end construction and civil execution of our Hydro Power Project. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of large infrastructure projects, hydro-related civil works (dams, canals, tunnels, powerhouses), and site execution management.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

Lead planning and execution of civil construction activities for a Hydro Power Projects. Ensure timelines, quality, safety, and cost benchmarks are met. Coordinate between design teams, contractors, and consultants.

Civil & Structural Supervision

Supervise all major civil works including: Dam & spillway construction Powerhouse, penstock, tunnels, and switchyard civil foundations River diversion works and intake structures.

Contract & Vendor Management

Review BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents. Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring scope and quality adherence. Review RA bills, certifications, and variation claims.

Liaison & Reporting

Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and statutory bodies. Provide regular project progress reports to senior management.

Quality, Health & Safety (QHSE)

Enforce site safety, labor welfare, and environmental protection protocols. Coordinate QA/QC checks and audits in civil construction stages.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education

: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech preferred)

Experience

: Minimum 10+ years in hydro power or infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in a project management role

Technical Knowledge

: Strong in RCC, structural and geotechnical engineering Familiarity with hydro structures, dam safety codes, and slope stabilization Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools

Key Competencies:

Leadership & team management at multi-disciplinary sites Problem-solving and decision-making under field conditions Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder coordination

Location Preference

: Project Site - Surajpur (C.G.), HO - Raipur (C.G.)

Candidates willing to relocate to remote Hydro Project site plus willing to travel across the state as per requirement.

Salary:

Commensurate with industry standards and experience.

Notice Period

: Immediate or max 30 days preferred.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?100,000.00 per month
