As a

Project Engineer

, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects related to the manufacturing, fabrication, and installation of FRP and thermoplastic equipment such as tanks, pipes, ducts, and specialized chemical process systems. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to design and quality standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

Coordinate and monitor all project activities from design approval to final installation and commissioning. Prepare project schedules (using MS Project or similar) and ensure milestones are met. Liaise with production, design, procurement, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution. Monitor subcontractors, site teams, and vendors for timely deliverables.

Technical Coordination

Review engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials. Assist in selection of materials, equipment, and methods suitable for FRP/thermoplastic applications. Ensure all equipment is manufactured and installed as per client specs and international standards (ASTM, ISO, DIN).

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain and update project documentation including reports, logs, and schedules. Prepare daily/weekly project progress reports for internal and client review. Ensure proper documentation for quality checks, inspections, and HSE compliance.

Site Management

Supervise site installation, testing, and commissioning activities. Coordinate logistics and material delivery to sites. Enforce safety practices and ensure all field operations comply with safety standards.

Client Interaction

Attend client meetings and project review discussions. Address technical queries and manage change requests or scope adjustments.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical / Production Engineering

Experience:

2-5 years in project engineering/execution in FRP, thermoplastics, chemical equipment, or industrial projects. Exposure to handling site work, vendor coordination, and fabrication projects.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in reading and interpreting P&IDs, GA drawings, isometrics. Knowledge of fabrication, QA/QC procedures, and site erection of FRP/GRP/Dual Laminate systems. Familiar with MS Project, AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and coordination abilities. Ability to multitask and handle pressure. Willingness to travel or stay at project sites if required.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
