About the Position
Position Details
Role: Project Coordinator
Employment Type: Full-time | Contract-based
Reporting To: Program Manager - BharatCares
Role Nature: Field-intensive (70% on-ground)
Project Coverage: 5 Government Schools | Grades 6-10 | 500+ students
Role Purpose
The Sr. Project Associate - CSR Programs will be responsible for end-to-end on-ground execution, monitoring, and coordination of the IBT Program across five government schools in Savli. The role ensures quality program delivery, instructor performance, stakeholder coordination, and adherence to MoU commitments and project timelines.

Responsibilities
1. Field Operations & Program Monitoring
Conduct regular field visits across all project schools
Monitor daily vocational lab sessions and hands-on learning activities
Ensure program implementation aligns with the Stakeholder IBT curriculum
Supervise proper usage and maintenance of lab infrastructure, tools, and materials
Track student attendance, participation, and engagement levels
Conduct surprise monitoring visits to ensure quality and compliance
Identify implementation gaps and proactively resolve field-level challenges
2. Instructor Supervision & Support
Manage and supervise ~15 vocational instructors across 5 schools
Monitor instructor attendance, punctuality, and teaching quality
Provide on-ground mentoring, academic support, and troubleshooting
Coordinate monthly lesson planning and material requirements
Facilitate communication between instructors and stakeholder technical teams
Organize monthly review and performance feedback meetings
Escalate critical issues to the Program Manager with actionable recommendations
3. Stakeholder & Community Engagement
Act as the primary coordination point between schools, BharatCares and Stakeholders.
Build strong working relationships with school principals, teachers, and education officials
Coordinate parent meetings, community awareness sessions, and student showcases
Support organization of community technology demonstrations and service projects
Liaise with government education department officials as required
4. Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate school-wise activity records, attendance logs, and field reports
Prepare monthly progress reports (quantitative and qualitative)
Document student learning outcomes through photographs, videos, and case studies
Support pre- and post-assessments in coordination with instructors
Maintain inventory records for tools, equipment, and consumables
Support quarterly evaluations and impact assessments
5. MoU Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure program delivery as per MoU timelines, outputs, and quality benchmarks
Track completion of hands-on curriculum and activities across grades
Monitor lab setup, branding, and infrastructure standards
Track milestone achievements and flag deviations early
Ensure audit readiness and proper documentation

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:
Educational Qualification
Master's degree in Education, Social Work, Rural Development, or related fields
Experience
2-4 years of experience in field-based project implementation
Prior experience in education, vocational training, or CSR programs preferred
Experience working with government schools and rural/semi-urban communities
Proven experience managing field teams and multi-stakeholder coordination
Skills & Competencies
Strong field operations and logistics management skills
Team leadership and instructor supervision capabilities
Excellent communication skills in Gujarati, Hindi, and English
Stakeholder engagement and relationship management
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in field conditions
High-quality documentation and reporting skills
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and mobile data tools
Working Conditions
Extensive local travel within Savli block (two-wheeler preferred; conveyance provided)
Occasional travel to Ahmedabad for review meetings
School-aligned working hours
Occasional weekend community or program events
