We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Head - Manufacturing

to lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations, including production planning, assembly, quality, inventory control, and dispatch. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient output, lean operations, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement in our advanced laser machine production line.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the entire

manufacturing value chain

- planning, assembly, testing, QA, logistics, and dispatch. Set up and monitor

KPIs

for production efficiency, resource utilization, and quality metrics. Oversee

production scheduling

, shop floor management, and daily output reporting. Collaborate with design, procurement, and sales for seamless production execution. Ensure compliance with

ISO, CE, and safety standards

across all manufacturing processes. Drive implementation of

Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, and TPM

methodologies. Handle

manpower planning

, training, team performance, and cross-functional coordination. Review and approve

engineering change requests (ECR/ECN)

and production trials. Lead regular

production review meetings

and report performance to leadership. Ensure ERPNext is fully utilized for job cards, work orders, inventory movement, and traceability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering. 10-15 years of progressive experience in machine building, automation, or capital equipment manufacturing. Proven experience in leading cross-functional production teams. Strong grasp of

electromechanical assemblies

, laser systems, pneumatics, motion systems. Proficiency in

ERP systems

, production analytics, and resource planning. Strong decision-making, analytical, and leadership skills. Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
