Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of complex systems using Linux Shell Scripting OmniPlus Omni Script VSAM and Cobol to meet business requirements. Oversee the development and implementation of scalable solutions that enhance product performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and technologies. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Analyze and optimize existing systems to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development. Conduct thorough testing and validation of systems to ensure high-quality deliverables. Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements translating them into actionable technical specifications. Qualifications

Possess extensive experience in Linux Shell Scripting OmniPlus Omni Script VSAM and Cobol demonstrating a deep understanding of these technologies. Have a strong background in Life and Annuities Insurance providing valuable insights into industry-specific challenges and opportunities. Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical issues effectively. Demonstrate strong communication skills enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
