We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Process Engineer
with strong expertise in
Aspen HYSYS, EPC
project execution
, and
gas processing systems
. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in chemical or mechanical engineering and a proven track record in the oil and gas sector. This role involves process design, simulation, and optimization for upstream and midstream oil & gas projects.
Act professionally and with due diligence at all times to fully safeguard the interests of the Company in all business activities.
Assists in the technical evaluation of contracts relative to their expertise in planning and scheduling.
Coordinate the monitoring of work productivity against established norms.
Support the preparation of project invoices in conjunction with the Accounts Department.
Liaise with Client for reporting purposes.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
Process Simulation and Design:
Develop and validate process simulations using Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or similar tools.
Design and optimize PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
Perform equipment sizing (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, separators).
Conduct material and energy balances for gas processing systems.
Execute line sizing and pressure drop calculations.
EPC Project Execution:
Support FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and detailed engineering phases.
Prepare and review process datasheets, specifications, and technical bid evaluations.
Coordinate with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
Ensure timely delivery of process deliverables in line with project schedules. ? Assist in vendor selection, equipment inspection, and quality assurance
Gas processing Expertise
Design and troubleshoot systems for gas sweetening, dehydration, compression, and NGL recovery.
+ Evaluate and select appropriate process technologies for upstream and midstream applications.
+ Support flare system design, relief load calculations, and dynamic simulations.
Safety & Compliance:
+ Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and design safety reviews.
+ Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and other relevant standards.
+ Contribute to process safety analysis and environmental impact assessments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
+ Interface with mechanical, instrumentation, piping, and electrical teams.
+ Provide technical support to clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
+ Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews and project meetings.
Documentation & Reporting:
+ Prepare technical reports, operating manuals, and process narratives.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date engineering documentation. Support knowledge transfer and training for junior engineers.
