Your Role at Baxter:
Baxterxe2x80x99s Front Line Care business is a 1.1B$ business comprising of Connected monitoring, Respiratory health, Cardiology, Intelligent diagnostic groups. The products, used by clinicians in acute and ambulatory care settings globally.
Position Overview
A Principal Engineer (Test Architect) for V&V will be responsible for formulating Test strategy , Automation framework, Drive Test quality improvements covering New Product development and sustaining engineering catering to our new and existing product portfolio. The successful candidate will possess solid xe2x80x9chands-onxe2x80x9d technical abilities, an excitement and energy for product development, and a passion for their work and the impact it has on meeting the needs of patients.
This position does not have any direct reports. You will need to work collaboratively with R&D and cross functions.
The role is located in the BRD facility in Bangalore India
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 15+ years of solid experience in Test / V&V Activities with Minimum of 5+ years as a Test/V&V Architect for a medical product
• Responsible for the Test architecture and design of automation framework, makes design choices for new product development, sustenance activities, field issue resolution etc.
• Prepares ,Reviews and approves the test deliverables for releases/Project
• Solid understanding and implementation of BDD
• Demonstrates customer focus by ensuring quality of releases and timely resolution of field reported issues
• Responsible for analyzing and understanding the requirements.
• Identifies key module/product level technical risks and assists in developing mitigation and recovery plan
• Review work products and ensure the quality of deliverables
• Provides guidance to development and test teams with respect to overall design and development.
• Leads and coaches V&V team members.
• Drives the application of principles of SDLC and methodologies like IEC62304,Lean/Agile, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and testing techniques.

Qualifications / Experience and/or Background

• Excellent Test architecture, design and implementation skills (preferably for an product ground up)
• Strong Object-Oriented development and design knowledge and experience
• Deep understanding of technology & test development principles:

Analysis and Design: Object oriented architecture, Design Patterns
Programming Languages like Pythonetc.
Development and Continuous Integration tools like Azure DevOps, BitBucket etc.
Hands on working in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
Web framework : Express, Java Spring boot, Django
Automation tools : Selenium * Exposure and Hands on working knowledge in BDD

• Exposure and Hands on working knowledge in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
• Demonstrated success in delivering results on technical challenges on enterprise products.
• Good understanding of Healthcare domain (regulations and standards) and Medical software development process.
