We are seeking a highly experienced

Sr. Principal Business Systems Analyst

to lead the

SAP Basis technical architecture and operations

for our

SAP RISE environment

. This role will focus on

cloud-hosted SAP landscapes

, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across S/4HANA and related components. You will partner with SAP, hyperscaler providers, and internal teams to drive

RISE adoption

,

technical governance

, and

operational excellence

Responsibilities


--------------------

SAP RISE Technical Leadership



Own the

SAP RISE architecture and roadmap

, including sizing, scalability, and performance optimization for cloud-hosted SAP systems. Lead

S/4HANA migrations

, upgrades, and patching in RISE-managed environments. Define and enforce

technical standards

for SAP RISE operations, including transport management, client strategy, and system refreshes.

Cloud & Infrastructure



Collaborate with

SAP RISE teams

, hyperscaler providers (Azure/AWS/GCP), and internal infrastructure teams for

HA/DR design

, backup/recovery, and cost optimization. Ensure compliance with

RISE service-level agreements (SLAs)

and security standards. Drive

automation and orchestration

for SAP operations leveraging RISE tools and APIs.

Performance & Monitoring



Implement

monitoring and alerting frameworks

using SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, and hyperscaler-native tools. Conduct

root cause analysis

for performance issues and optimize HANA database/application layers.

Governance & Compliance



Ensure adherence to

RISE governance model

,

SOX

,

GDPR

, and audit requirements. Manage

user provisioning and security roles

in collaboration with SAP Security/GRC teams. Maintain

documentation

for architecture, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans.

Stakeholder Engagement



Partner with

SAP RISE Customer Success teams

, business process owners, and internal IT to align technical solutions with business priorities. Provide

thought leadership

on emerging SAP technologies and RISE capabilities.

Required Experience and Skills

12-16 years

of experience in SAP Basis administration and technical architecture. Proven expertise in

SAP S/4HANA

,

BW/BI

,

Solution Manager

, and

SAP Fiori

in cloud-hosted environments. Strong experience with

SAP RISE deployment

,

HANA administration

, and performance tuning. Hands-on with

RISE migration projects

,

system copies

, and

Unicode conversions

. Familiarity with

RISE service components

, hyperscalerintegration, and hybrid landscapes. Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
