Job Summary:

The Senior Production Engineer will oversee the end-to-end production process of interior design elements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery. This role involves planning, supervising production activities, coordinating with design & project teams, managing resources, and maintaining production standards in line with client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities for furniture, modular units, and interior fit-out elements. Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high quality and cost efficiency. Review and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and material requirements. Coordinate with the design, purchase, and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow. Monitor machinery, tools, and manpower allocation to optimize production. Implement lean manufacturing practices and suggest process improvements. Maintain production records, reports, and progress trackers. Train and guide junior engineers, supervisors, and production staff. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in the factory. Identify and resolve bottlenecks or technical issues during production. Liaise with vendors and contractors for specialized processes or outsourced work.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of interior design production processes (modular furniture, carpentry, metal fabrication, finishes, etc.). Proficiency in reading and interpreting AutoCAD drawings. Good leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of production planning & control techniques. Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with quality standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Production Engineering or related field. 5-8 years of experience in production, preferably in the Interior Design / Furniture / Modular Manufacturing industry. Hands-on experience with factory operations, manpower handling, and project coordination.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
