Job Details Oracle CPQ Developer Johnson Controls is searching for a skilled and experienced Oracle CPQ Developer to work on the design and construction of JCI\'s Oracle CPQ instances. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of how to translate complex product requirements into an elegantly coded, usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable solutions in the Oracle CPQ platform and associated add-ons. The Developer will be working in an agile environment, with both onshore and offshore teammates, as well as with our leadership team, using iterative and cutting-edge development methods. Responsibilities The developer will design and build robust, elastic, and maintainable Oracle CPQ modules and solutions. The applicant will be part of an offshore and onshore team. He must be a self-starter having a thorough understanding of Oracle CPQ administration, configuration, coding, integration strategies, data manipulation, roles and profiles. Candidate will participate in an offshore development team, as well as collaborate with onshore UI/UX Lead, Product Owner, Solutions Delivery Lead, and Solutions Architect to plan and coordinate efforts. Candidate will evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with the Product Owner, engineers and others. The developer will be expected to make recommendations on interacting with legacy programs, create design documents to illustrate software components, provide best practices on Oracle CPQ configuration and development, peer review source code delivered by developers, create and update object schemas and queries, and be able to read and interpret a current code base. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience required, specializing in computer science, engineering, or related field Minimum 3+ years of experience administering, configuring and building Oracle CPQ solutions. Strong experience working with teams in an onshore and offshore model. Experience with Commerce, Configuration Builder, Integration, data manipulations, and security. Experience in migrating code between CPQ instances. Experience with BML, Commerce Rules, Commerce Processes, Utilities Libraries, Commerce Document Engine, User Administration. Experience writing Javascript and custom CSS for CPQ UI customizations. Experience in integrating Oracle CPQ with Salesforce and other systems like Docusign, ERP\'s. Strong experience in design, construction, and deployment on the Oracle CPQ platform. Strong experience with Database Design, Database Objects and Procedures Strong knowledge of design patterns and coding best practices Experience with developing SaaS applications Experience with single sign-on, session management, user profiles, and user identity and authentication frameworks a strong plus. Experience with troubleshooting and solving performance issues Experience with cloud platforms (ex. MS Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, a plus. Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices and concepts Experience using Jira and Confluence Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment
