Key Responsibilities:
Develop, monitor, and update project schedules in line with project timelines and milestones.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and consultants to ensure adherence to schedules.
Utilize construction planning software (such as Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.) for scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
Prepare progress reports, delay analyses, and recovery plans as required.
Identify project risks, potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with design, procurement, and execution teams to maintain seamless workflow.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with public sector departments and officials for necessary approvals and project clearances.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
8-10 years of experience in planning and scheduling within road/highway construction projects.
Strong knowledge of
Primavera P6
,
MS Project
, or similar construction management software.
Excellent understanding of project management principles, cost control, and resource planning.
Proven experience in dealing with
public sector clients
and government agencies.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
Experience with large-scale infrastructure or government road projects.
Certification in project planning or project management (e.g., PMP, PSP) will be an added advantage.
