Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced

Sr. PHP Developer (Laravel)

who will be responsible for developing high-performing web applications, designing scalable solutions, and mentoring junior developers. The ideal candidate should be proficient in

PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and RESTful APIs

, with strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable, and high-quality web applications using

PHP (Laravel framework)

. Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver seamless user experiences. Optimize application performance, troubleshoot bugs, and implement best coding practices. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other external services. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry standards (PSR). Lead and mentor junior developers, conducting code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance skills and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2-3 years of proven experience

in PHP & Laravel development. Strong knowledge of

OOP concepts, MVC architecture, MySQL, and RESTful APIs

. Hands-on experience with

JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3

. Experience with version control tools like

Git/GitHub

. Knowledge of

caching, queues, and optimization techniques

for performance improvement. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Nice-to-Have (Optional):

Experience with

Vue.js/React.js

. Knowledge of

AWS, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines

. Exposure to Agile methodology and project management tools like

Jira/Trello

.
