Job Description

Role Objective:
Design patterns for night wears and nighty fabrics using CAD software, leveraging strong fabric knowledge to produce original, production-ready textile designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and develop unique patterns for nightwear and nighty fabrics using leading CAD platforms (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, NedGraphics). Collaborate with design, product development, and production teams to ensure patterns are aesthetically appealing and feasible for manufacturing. Analyze market trends and incorporate new ideas for competitive, stylish designs. Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications tailored to different fabric types. Maintain design databases and documentation; resolve design queries with production and merchandising teams. Stay informed on textile materials, printing technologies, and design innovations within the industry.
Requirements:

Graduate in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related discipline. 5+ years' proven CAD textile design experience. Sound knowledge of fabrics and construction in the context of nightwear. Demonstrated proficiency in CAD design software and technical drawing. Age limit: up to 35 years. No gender preference. Prefer candidates based in or near Erode district.
