Job Description

Role: Oracle DBA

Location: Any Deloitte offices (Hybrid, 2 days WFO)

Experience: 7-8 years

Work Timings: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM & 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM

Budget: 1.2 -1.5LPM

Must-Have Skills

Oracle DBA Strong SQL C++ programming (Mandatory) Basic knowledge of databases

Good-to-Have Skills

Excellent communication skills (client-facing role)

#Database Support & Maintenance

Manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases; ensure reliability, availability, and performance. Perform daily health checks, backup & recovery operations, and database upgrades. Perform installation, compliance, patching, backup/recovery, and security management.

#Application & System Support

Provide technical support for applications built in C++ running on Linux environments. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and apply corrective actions. Collaborate with peripheral teams to monitor and optimize new releases. Monitor batch jobs and workflows using Control-M. Troubleshoot failed jobs and ensure timely completion of scheduled tasks.

#Incident & Problem Management

Work closely with business and stakeholders to understand support requirements and deliver high-quality resolutions. * Monitor system alerts and proactively address potential incidents before they impact business operations.
