Position Overview:



The Sr. Operations will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategic direction of the company, managing day-to-day operations, compliance and ensuring that the company complies with all regulatory requirements, including government terms and conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with mechanical engineering companies, and be adept at navigating the complexities of government contracts, regulations, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Leadership & Visionary Oversight:



Lead the company by defining and executing the long-term strategic vision & growth initiatives.

Engage with the Board to set actionable goals, prioritizing market penetration, innovation, and operational scalability.

Serve as the principal driver of the company's vision to expand its portfolio of government contracts and mechanical engineering solutions, ensuring alignment with market trends and emerging technological advancements.

Decision Making:



Make key strategic decisions regarding investments, acquisitions, mergers, and other major initiatives. Strong decision-making abilities and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple departments in business operations.

Government Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:



Ensure the company adheres to relevant local, state regulations, including compliance with government & semi government contracting rules, terms and conditions.

Direct the development and execution of a robust internal governance system to ensure meticulous adherence to government-mandated requirements, ensuring compliance with audit standards, contract performance clauses, and financial reporting obligations.

Stakeholder Management & Governance:



Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, industry leaders, suppliers, vendors & clients.

Serve as the key spokesperson for the company, representing its interests in high-level meetings with governmental agencies, business partners, investors, and media.

Lead Board-level communication, ensuring timely, transparent updates on company performance, regulatory developments, and risk management activities. Align Board governance practices with the company's mission, values, and strategic priorities.

Operational Excellence:



Oversee the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency, smooth effectiveness, and alignment with strategic objectives.

Encouraging cross-disciplinary collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, and government compliance teams to fuel technological advancements and enhance product offerings.

Financial Oversight:



Develop and monitor financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring the company's financial health and stability.

Business Development:



Cultivate and expand high-value business relationships, particularly with key government agencies, regulatory bodies, and ensuring the company's competitive positioning in both domestic and international markets.

Establish the company as a leader in both mechanical engineering innovation and as a trusted government contractor, leveraging relationships and industry insights to pursue high-value contract opportunities.

Innovation and Growth:



Foster innovation within the mechanical engineering domain, promoting new technologies and solutions that can enhance service offerings.

Team Leadership:



Lead, motivate & develop an executive team, ensuring all departments work cohesively toward achieving company goals.

Risk Management:



Oversee the creation and implementation of a robust risk management framework, identifying both external and internal threats, including geopolitical, economic, and compliance risks, and ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.

Crisis Management:



Develop and execute plans to address potential crises and emergencies.

Qualifications & Skills:



A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degrees, such as an MBA or Master's in Engineering Management, preferred).

Preferred any one of the certifications in government contracting, compliance, and industry-specific regulatory frameworks.

Exceptional leadership, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.

Highly potential to present & able to explain organizational goals, products & services to Government & Regulatory bodies.

Strong network within government and mechanical engineering sectors.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP Software is a plus.

Pay: ?1,500,000.00 - ?2,400,000.00 per year
