As a Technical Business Analysis Senior Specialist, you thrive on applying analytical thinking to anticipate and resolve complex issues and drive solution development. You secure the buy-in and input from diverse stakeholders and teams to define and scope business problems that enable the technical capability teams to successfully deliver value, achieve mission outcomes and maintain a high standard of operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

This is how you will bring the purpose of your role to life:

  • Leverage deep technical domain skills and expertise to conduct technical impact and gap analysis, design and research, working as part of a technical capability team in one or more missions to enable mission design and delivery, and as part of capacity planning and lifecycle management activities.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders (the team, product owners, technical product owners, solution designers and solution owners, as well as component teams\xe2\x80\x99 DevOps engineers, testers, and technical writers) to analyse business needs, develop and document both functional and non-functional specifications/stories, model workflows, model data, clarify business rules and acceptance criteria to enable capability teams to successfully deliver value and mission epics.
  • Apply analytical thinking during iterative analysis, development, and testing activities, to provide input and anticipate and resolve issues in the identification, reporting and closing of gaps in acceptance and feasibility.
  • Work with the team and technical product owners to break down work into epics, features, stories, and specifying acceptance criteria, when working in agile teams, to enable the effective planning and delivery of work.
  • Manage the product backlog, along with the Product Owner and help the PO in prioritizing the upcoming work items.
  • Analyse customer (internal, external or regulatory) needs and requirements and provide feedback where necessary.
  • Translate customer (internal, external or regulatory) needs and requirements into detailed technical requirements (functional and non-functional) for software developers.
  • Perform technical impact and gap analysis for new requirements.
  • Work with the team and product owners to break down work into epics, features, stories, and specifying acceptance criteria
  • Provide subject matter expertise in specific functional or technical domains for assigned technical capability teams to drive solution development and/or resolve problems within the team.
  • Collaborate with the team to define and measure delivery and operational performance metrics and provide input to the wider team for capability performance, growth, and learning.
  • Synthesise and share knowledge of emerging technology trends, innovations, and disruptions, preparing tailored analysis to define and deliver reusable components and capabilities.
  • Use your strong communication skills to gain buy-in and input from stakeholders and teams, into continuous improvement and ways of working.
  • Participate as part of a Dev/Ops team, contributing to the support of applications post deployment to Production.
  • Support the team throughout the development and testing phase, applying analytical thinking and functional knowledge to identify issues and resolve gaps
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to improve their skills.
  • Be a part of Agile team to deliver business values on regular basis, following and participating in all Agile ceremonies.
To be successful in the role, you\'ll have...

Minimum Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Engineering / Telecom.
  • Essential
  • 8+ years of experience in delivery of technical components of large complex IT projects
  • 5+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience, strong experience in translating ambiguous business ideas into clear technical requirements
  • Experience as a BA working in projects dealing with Order Management, fulfilment, assurance systems.
  • Strong knowledge of E2E journeys processes across fulfilment, assurance, inventory management, product catalogue, plan build and activation.
  • Experience of working as a Service Designer, breaking high level requirements, and converting to low level specifications
  • Designing TMF OPEN API\xe2\x80\x99s, understanding of SID model
  • Good understanding of API\xe2\x80\x99s, Orchestration, High performance designs.
  • Experience of working in a large Agile program with multiple inter-dependent Teams
  • Excellent facilitation, communication and working with remote team skills
  • Proficient in Jira - Experience of creating epics and user stories and managing product backlog
  • Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Able to work in a DevOps environment to deliver production software
  • Able to liaise with cross-functional teams which includes technical and non-technical staff members to deliver common objectives
  • Able to articulate technical ideas, designs and architectures to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Good negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of agile ceremonies and role of the business analyst
  • Highly desirable
  • Experience of core Telecom domains, such as Product Catalogue, Inventory, Order journey, Assurance, Billing.
  • Experience of working with more than 1 teams as a Business Analyst/ Service Designer
  • Experience of closely working with the PO on the Product roadmap
  • Knowledge of Non-functional and accessibility requirements
  • Experience of collaborating with UX (User Experience) + VD (Visual Designers) + PO\'s (Product Owners) to ensure alignment of requirements
  • Good to have skills
