: SharkNinja requires a knowledgeable Network Administrator [Contractor - Offshore] for AMR and EUR time zones[rotational - weekly or biweekly] to troubleshoot technical problems, provide technical advice, product upgrade, and installation support. The Network Administrator, under the direction of the Network Manager, is primarily responsible for supporting our organizations by designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure. Network Administrators troubleshoot connectivity issues, optimize network performance, and manage upgrades and configurations to maintain stability, security, and scalability. This position is essential in ensuring that IT networks are reliable, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. Prior experience in administering, evaluating, and modifying network systems to assure proper security, operation, and optimization is a benefit. Other responsibilities include: o Design, configure, and maintain Cisco network and security appliances and hardware, including Catalyst switches, ISR routers, FirePower, FMC, WLC, ISE, DNA, SD-WAN management, and troubleshooting. o Deep knowledge on WAN/LAN networking, including wireless, fiber-optic and copper cable. o Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure minimal downtime and resilience to potential cybersecurity threats. o Validate configuration backup systems are up and running. o Manage IT-Network support tickets and monitor ticket queues. o Implement security protocols such as firewalls, access controls, and encryption. o Document network configurations and update system documentation regularly including visio diagrams. o Collaborate with IT teams to optimize network architecture for scalability. o Perform hardware and software system upgrades, patches, and maintenance. o Prepare detailed diagrams, use cases, instructional, and test documentation and guides. o Coordinate with reporting manager, user functional communities, and team members on task priorities and initiatives. o Conduct meetings, user training sessions, and testing with internal and external clients. o Stay current with the latest network and security trends, technologies, and industry best practices. Core Competencies o Highly motivated and with strong attention to detail o Hands-on, problem-solving approach to managing and troubleshooting complex technical environments o Excellent verbal and written communication o Results-oriented, critical thinker, and with excellent planning and organizational skills o Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills o Team player with the ability to collaborate and interact with internal and external clients o Flexible and adaptable to change o Proactive, addressing potential problems before they occur Requirements: o Hand-on experience on Cisco routers, switches, wireless, network operating systems including network appliances like FTD, ISE, DNAC, and SD-WAN. o Complete understanding on TCP/IP, OSI model and network protocols like SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, DHCP, DNS, FTP, etc. o Must understand when to escalate urgent issues to the team. o Require a solid understanding of networking and troubleshooting. o Must be able to work occasionally after hours or weekends as required. o Work as part of a team as well as independently. o Available to be on-call for support. o Ability to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment. Qualifications: o Proven ability to perform responsibilities in English. o Strong communication skills - verbal and written. o Minimum 7 years of Network Administration experience. o Ability to resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion. o Strong experience in performing a variety of activities related to the analysis, installation, and troubleshooting of networking and applications.
