Job Summary:
The Finance & Accounts Executive (MIS) will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of key financial reports, dashboards, and analyses for senior management. This is a critical role that provides the insights needed to monitor business performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance and accounting and is highly proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare & deliver regular MIS reports, including sales performance, production costs, profitability analysis, and financial forecasts. Develop & maintain dashboards to track KPIs for all departments.
Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data from various sources to provide actionable insights. Identify significant variances and trends and present findings clearly and concisely to management.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Monitor and report on actual performance against budget, providing detailed variance analysis.
Streamline data collection and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Work with other departments to ensure consistent data input and reporting standards.
Respond to specific data requests from the CEO and other senior leaders, conducting ad-hoc analysis to support new projects, cost-saving initiatives, and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CA or CMA certification is a significant advantage.
Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a finance and accounts role, with a strong focus on MIS and financial analysis within the manufacturing sector.
Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros), PowerPoint, and Tally. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
