We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical
MIS Executive
to manage and maintain the organization's data and reporting systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating accurate reports, maintaining databases, automating processes, and supporting various departments with actionable insights based on data.
Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:1. Data Management & Reporting
Collect, clean, and validate data from various internal and external sources.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management and departments.
Create dashboards and MIS reports to support performance monitoring and business analysis.
2. Database Maintenance
Manage and regularly update internal databases, spreadsheets, and relevant software systems.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality across all platforms.
3. Data Analysis & Insights
Analyze large data sets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
4. Reporting Automation & Process Improvement
Automate recurring reports and data processes using Excel, VBA, Power Query, or other tools.
Continuously identify inefficiencies in existing processes and suggest/implement improvements.
5. Cross-Department Coordination & Support
Collaborate with various departments (Sales, HR, Finance, Operations, etc.) to understand their data and reporting needs.
Provide support for custom data requests, one-time reports, and special formats as required.
6. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate documentation for all MIS activities, reports, and system changes.
Ensure compliance with company data management policies and data protection regulations.
System Development & Data Structuring Responsibilities:7. Study Departmental Processes
Understand the workflow of each department to evaluate how data is generated, processed, and stored in daily operations.
8. Evaluate Existing Data Systems
Review current data storage systems (manual/digital) to identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, or risks.
9. Recommend System Updates or New Solutions
Propose enhancements to existing systems or suggest new data storage methods aligned with department needs and organizational efficiency.
10. Coordinate with Department Heads
Work closely with department heads to define data requirements and ensure that system updates are practical and effective.
11. Implement New or Updated Data Storage Systems
Upgrade or introduce new data storage solutions (e.g., Excel-based models, cloud systems, ERP integration) without disrupting ongoing operations.
12. Design Data Structures & Access Controls
Establish structured data formats and implement role-based access to ensure secure and organized data management.
13. Training & Support
Train employees on using updated systems and provide ongoing support during and after the transition phase.
14. System Monitoring & Maintenance
Monitor system performance regularly, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the setup based on team feedback and business growth.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Statistics, Computer Applications, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in MIS or data reporting role.
Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Charts, Macros, etc.) is a must.
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Quick learner and tech-savvy.
