Job Purpose:

This position is of MicroStrategy developer. Here the Developer will have to take end-to-end responsibility of deliverable from requirements gathering to deployments. Apart from Strong knowledge in MicroStrategy, Developer should have efficient in SQL.

Job Background/context:

Disclosure of Interest (DOI) involves submitting periodic reports to the regulators so that we can disclose all shares or Holdings and adhere to the quantity as per regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Building scalable MicroStrategy applications
• The candidate should have very strong technical experience in the areas of MicroStrategy Schema Design (Attributes, facts, etc.), Complex report object design like Metrics, Filters, Prompts, Custom Group, Consolidations and etc.,..
• The candidate should have very strong experience in Complex Report Design and self-serve Dashboards.
• Good to have experience in UNIX environment, UNIX scripts
• Experience working on parallel development tracks at the same time is required
• Experience in leading smaller development teams is necessary
• Adhere to the SDLC process, & also ensure others follow process too.
• Should have root cause analysis skills, able to quickly analyse and interpret code and ensure that issues are resolved or escalated appropriately.
• Must have prior proven experience in coding, development and testing of programs & modules
• Exposure to other reporting tool or ETL tool will be an added advantage
• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
• Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
• Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform development and support enhancements on a complex business application.

- Understand the work processes to investigate problem areas and provide appropriate solution. Adhere completely the established software development lifecycle governance standard.

- Analyze requirements, perform impact analysis, design and develop solutions.

- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

- Develop and enhance interfaces for data validation, transformation, processing, or generation, between applications.

- Participate in a team environment for the delivery and maintenance of code base and development servers.

- Be responsible for programming, debugging, peer review

- Contribute to product quality by participating in peer reviews of application data models and interface logic.

- Design, develop and maintain tools and scripts to help unit testing, development and QA.

- Adopt and build process to manage the quality of the deliverables.

- Provide support when building, deploying, configuring and supporting systems in BAU.

Qualifications:

• 05-08 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
• Experience in MicroStrategy
• The candidate should be proficient with SQL
• Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
