Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Total Rewards will lead the strategic planning, development and administration of our employee benefit programs in India. This includes developing and offering employee benefit plans that are both fiscally responsible and provide excellent coverage by ensuring these programs are competitive, compliant with legal requirements and aligned with Bread Financial's goals. This role is pivotal in benefits strategy, budget, audit, communications, and vendor management, focusing on enhancing associate well-being and maximizing benefit utilization. This position will also be responsible to the analysis, design, implementation and administration of competitive compensation programs that are innovative, compliant and cost-effective to support the organization's business strategy.
Essential Job FunctionsPartner closely with the U.S. based Benefits Director and Senior Manager during the annual renewal planning and execution for India benefits. Partners with People and Culture teams, and other stakeholders to implement program changes and new vendors. - (15%)
Partner closely with the U.S. based Compensation Senior Director to conduct complex market evaluations, provide compensation recommendations and consult on market competitiveness and internal pay equity. - (15%)
Manage ongoing relationships with internal partners, external consultants/brokers, and vendor partners to ensure satisfactory service standards. Collaborates with vendor management, legal, and finance to evaluate - (10%)
Manage, develop, and implement a comprehensive benefits strategy that aligns with company goals and enhances employee satisfaction and retention. Design, access, evaluate and modify benefit policies to ensure they are current and market competitive (e.g. associate surveys, benchmarking, etc.). - (10%)
Develop and deliver communications to associates about benefit programs, changes, and enrollment process. Responsible for the execution of Open Enrollment and ongoing enrollment for new hires. - (10%)
Work closely with HR partners and business leaders to understand their needs and provide expert advice on compensation matters. - (10%)
Manage compensation-related projects and initiatives. - (10%)
Leads, coaches, and mentors a team of compensation and benefit analysts. Manages benefit and compensation communications, creates presentations, and leads the team in delivering efficient and effective services. - (10%)
Advises on employee benefit plans considering cost, compliance, and quality. Ensures legal compliance of benefits offerings - (5%)
Oversee the creation and maintenance of salary structures, ensuring they meet market standards and organizational needs. - (5%)
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Finance or Business or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
10+ years experience in Benefits and Compensation
5+ years direct leadership experience
Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree In Human Resources, Finance or Business
