Position Sr. Manager - Six Sigma Grade : L4 Business Unit / Function Department - Business Excellence / Six Sigma Location Bharuch Reports to Lean Sigma Coordinator Summary of Job (Purpose/ objective of the job Department organogram to be enclosed) Responsible for implementing the Black Belt projects identified in the area of cost saving and process improvements at the unit. Key Responsibilities (Performance Indicators) Identify opportunities for development and improvement in Process and Operations in line with Business Excellence initiatives. Direct and support the process engineers for all technical support activities in the identified projects. Support production for achieving targeted production with budgeted yield and quality. Implement new Technologies in plant & technical support for all functions in Manufacturing. Creating infrastructure for improvement projects. Mentoring Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Yellow Belt projects teams to successful completion of projects and ensuring desired savings and benefits to the Organization. Coordination with various departments and Functional Heads to seek their support and involvement for timely completion of process improvement and cost reduction projects in each of the Business units. No. of Reportees NA Qualification & Experience B.E Mechanical / Chemical with at least 6-10 years of experience in Mfg unit of Chemicals/ API/ FMCG sector in technical services or process engineering. Key Competencies ( Technical, Functional & Behavioral) Six Sigma & project management skills to lead and implement improvement projects. De-bottlenecking and practical /hands-on experience in designing of plant and equipments such as heat exchangers, distillation columns, dryers, reactors etc. Hands on experience in preparation of basic engineering package for new schemes for de-bottlenecking of new and existing plants.
