A reputed and well-established jewellery business based in Pune is looking to hire a

Merchandiser

with strong experience in the jewellery sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end merchandising operations including product planning, assortment, sourcing coordination, trend analysis, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute merchandising strategies to drive product success across categories Work closely with design and production teams to align product offerings with market trends Plan assortments and product launches based on seasonal requirements and consumer demand Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for sourcing raw materials and finished goods Monitor sales trends, stock movement, and prepare performance reports Ensure timely procurement and inventory availability for retail and online channels Provide regular feedback on slow-moving items and propose actionable strategies Maintain product quality standards and ensure timely execution of production plans

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Jewellery Design, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 3 years of experience in merchandising within the jewellery industry (retail or manufacturing) Strong understanding of jewellery materials, trends, and manufacturing processes Excellent analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills Proficiency in MS Excel and merchandising or ERP tools Good communication and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple collections and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

Experience in both domestic and export markets Familiarity with CAD designs and jewellery prototyping Exposure to premium/luxury segment in jewellery retail
