Job Description

Position: Senior MEP Engineer

Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E / B.Tech). Postgraduate qualifications or additional certifications in MEP services will be an added advantage.
Experience:

Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP design and execution. Strong technical expertise in Electrical systems with working knowledge of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems. Prior experience in handling medium to large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial projects is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:

Design & Documentation:

Prepare and review electrical design drawings, load schedules, schematics, and layouts. Ensure designs are in compliance with relevant codes, IS standards, and statutory requirements. Coordinate with architects, structural, and other services consultants for design integration.
Project Coordination & Execution:

Manage MEP works from concept to commissioning. Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure timely execution.
Technical & Compliance:

Carry out electrical load calculations, cable sizing, panel board design, earthing, and lighting system design. Ensure safety standards, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices in design and execution. Prepare technical reports, BOQs, and cost estimates.
Client & Stakeholder Management:

Participate in project review meetings with clients and consultants. Provide technical support and resolve design/site issues as required. Ensure smooth communication and coordination across all project stakeholders.
Skills Required:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, ETAP (or equivalent software). Strong knowledge of Electrical Codes, NBC, and relevant IS/IEC standards. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills. Strong communication and documentation skills.
