Job Summary:



The Business Development & Bid Manager will be responsible for driving business growth in the

IT Network Infrastructure domain

, encompassing enterprise networking, data centers, structured cabling, surveillance, and security solutions. The role involves

identifying opportunities, managing the bid/tender process, preparing techno-commercial proposals,

and ensuring end-to-end coordination with technical and project teams for successful business acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Business Development & Client Engagement



Identify new business opportunities in IT Network Infrastructure, Data Centre, Security and Surveillance, Smart city and ICT projects.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, and system integrators.

Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution discussions to understand customer requirements.

Achieve business targets and revenue growth as per organizational goals.

2. Bid & Tender Management



Analyze tender documents, scope of work, and eligibility criteria.

Coordinate with technical, procurement, and finance teams for preparing compliant and competitive bids.

Prepare and submit

EOIs, RFP/RFQ responses, pre-qualification documents, and technical & commercial proposals.



Ensure timely submission of bids with complete documentation and follow-up on tender outcomes.

3. Proposal & Costing Management



Prepare techno-commercial proposals for enterprise networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), surveillance (CCTV), structured cabling, and passive/active network components.

Work with OEMs and channel partners for product selection, pricing, and solution validation.

Optimize costing structure to maintain profitability and competitiveness.

4. Market Research & Strategy



Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging trends, new technologies, and competitor activities.

Build strategic partnerships and alliances with OEMs and distributors

Develop go-to-market strategies for new service offerings and verticals.

5. Internal Coordination & Documentation



Coordinate with internal departments--Projects, Purchase, Finance, and Legal--for bid and project execution alignment.

Maintain proper documentation of bids, client communications, and approvals.

Track ongoing tenders and maintain a bid tracker for management review.

Key Skills & Competencies:



Strong understanding of

IT network infrastructure solutions

(LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, structured cabling, routers, switches, CCTV, access control, data centers).

Proven experience in

tendering, RFP response, and bid management

for government and enterprise clients.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to prepare

detailed BOQ, compliance statements, and pricing sheets.



Proficiency in

MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

and familiarity with

e-tendering portals (GeM, CPPP, NIC, etc.).



Strong analytical, organizational, and project coordination abilities.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (IT, Electronics, or related field). MBA in Marketing/Business Development preferred.

5+ years of experience in

Business Development / Bid Management

in IT Infrastructure or System Integration domain.

Experience working with

Government, PSU, and large enterprise tenders

will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?600,000.00 - ?1,000,000.00 per year
