Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified

Medical Coder

to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating medical reports into standard codes using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems to ensure accurate billing, recordkeeping, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze patient medical records and charts. Assign correct diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS. Ensure coding accuracy for reimbursement and compliance with insurance guidelines. Work closely with physicians, billing teams, and auditors to clarify documentation. Follow up on coding-related insurance denials and correct any errors. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines and payer policies.

Qualifications:

Graduate in Life Sciences, Nursing, or any medical-related field (B.Sc, BPT, BDS, etc.) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification preferred. Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding systems. Good understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and billing software is a plus. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and accuracy.

Experience:

Fresher

with medical coding training/certification OR

1-3 years

of hands-on experience in medical coding (inpatient, outpatient, ED, or specialty-specific).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹53,152.06 per month
