Position-

Sr Mechanical Designer (Structural)

Experience-

10+ yrs

Qualification-

Diploma in Mechanical / ITI in Mechanical Engineering

Location-

Aundh, Pune

Design, modelling and detailing of steel beams and columns
Detailing of various connections used for structural joints- welded, bolted, rivetted, moment connection, shear connection, splice details etc.
Detailing of bracing and trusses.
Review of drawings such as frame, pipe racks, standalone pipe supports done by a third party drafting agency.
Detailing of combination of sections e.g. back-to-back channel, Box section, Pipe sections, square tube etc.
Resolve site/ shop related issues arising from structural drawing.
Assist in the identification and development of templates, design guidelines,
and standard documents.
Contribute to the culture of innovation by seeking opportunities to innovate
and making suggestions from improvements.
Update and maintain systems as required.
Conduct a lesson learnt meeting with the team and Discipline Managers.

Requirement-

10+ years' experience in the field of Structure drafting, 3D modelling and design e.g. Pipe rack, Skid Frames, Support etc. for water and/or wastewater treatment plants
Sound knowledge and experience of Structural detailing.
Hands-on experience working with AutoCAD 3D, preferably Advance Steel software, for all types of structural drawings e.g. Skid frames, Pipe racks, Standalone supports etc.
Knowledge of various software used for detailing steel structure
e.g. Advance steel; Tekla will be an added advantage.
Familiar with various steel sections of IS, ASTM and AUS standards.
Experience in a design role closely supporting project delivery.
Experience working for an international organisation.
Experience working with raw water treatment, demineralised water treatment, reverse
osmosis, recycle, reuse plants.

Pay: ?1,400,000.00 - ?1,500,000.00 per year
