As a Senior Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineer, you will take ownership of designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide mobile device and application strategies. This role combines deep technical expertise in MDM and MAM with hands-on operational responsibilities to ensure mobile endpoints are secure, compliant, and productive. You will collaborate closely with IT, Security, Compliance, and Support teams to enforce policies, deploy applications, and streamline mobile operations across iOS, Android, and other platforms. Your contributions will directly impact organizational security, user experience, and operational efficiency. Accountabilities

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and lifecycle management of enterprise MDM and MAM platforms, ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Design and enforce mobile device security policies, including encryption, passcodes, remote wipe, app whitelisting/blacklisting, and conditional access.
• Package, deploy, and manage internal and third-party mobile applications securely and reliably.
• Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for mobile devices and applications, ensuring seamless onboarding and user experience.
• Integrate MDM solutions with IAM, endpoint detection, and mobile threat defense platforms.
• Monitor device compliance, generate reports, and collaborate with security and audit teams to maintain policy alignment.
• Document processes, workflows, and policies; automate repetitive MDM tasks where possible using scripting or native tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise mobile devices and applications.
• Strong expertise with VMware Workspace ONE UEM; Workspace ONE Admin certification is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of iOS and Android enterprise mobility features, including enrollment, supervision, managed apps, configuration, and compliance.
• Experience with Apple Business Manager (ABM), Google Enterprise, and integration with MDM platforms.
• Strong understanding of MDM/MAM policies, including security hardening, user profiles, certificate-based authentication, VPN, Wi-Fi, and conditional access.
• Hands-on experience deploying mobile applications, troubleshooting device and app issues, and maintaining version consistency.
• Scripting proficiency for automation (PowerShell, Python, or Workspace ONE APIs).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience integrating Workspace ONE with Okta, Azure AD, or MTD platforms.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles and their application to MDM.
• Experience in high-growth or global enterprise environments supporting 10K+ mobile devices.
• Previous exposure to Windows 11 or macOS device management via Workspace ONE or Intune.
• Relevant certifications: Workspace ONE UEM Specialist/Admin, CompTIA Mobility+, or equivalent.
