Role Overview:
The Marketing Manager/Executive will lead or support the design & implementation of marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, generate leads, drive student enrolment, and build strong relationships with prospective students, educational partners, and stakeholders in and around Berhampur.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns (online + offline) to attract students to DataXSchool's courses.
Manage digital marketing channels: social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), search ads, content marketing, email marketing, SEO/SEM.
Conduct market research: understand local competition, student preferences, regional trends in tech education.
Field outreach: visit colleges, training institutes, schools; liaise with student groups; organise seminars/workshops/events.
Coordinate promotional events (demos, open houses, webinars) and represent the institute in education fairs.
Maintain and update marketing collaterals--brochures, posters, banners, website content.
Manage leads: track incoming inquiries, follow-up with prospects, maintain CRM or lead-tracking tools.
Work closely with admissions / counseling team to ensure smooth conversion of leads to enrolments.
Monitor metrics and KPIs: campaign ROI, lead conversion rate, cost per lead, enrolment numbers; analyse and report regularly (weekly/monthly).
Budgeting & vendor management: plan marketing budget; work with vendors/designers/printers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or related field.
Prior experience (1-2 years or more) in marketing, preferably in the education/training sector. Freshers with strong drive may also be considered for more junior roles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Odia (local language) is a plus.
Good understanding of digital marketing tools & platforms.
Basic design sense / ability to coordinate with designers.
Comfortable with field work and travel around Berhampur / surrounding areas.
Data-driven mindset: ability to use analytics in decision-making.
Strong organizational, multitasking ability & ability to meet targets.
