Summary The role requires conducting of product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. This includes reviews with teams on ensuring RCA(8D/PSR) for all internal/external NCs/customer NCs , conducting and organizing PFMEAs and regular audits of manufacturing process. Involves in Quality KPIs tracking, monitoring and reporting. Implementation of all Quality improvement actions in lines along with teams based on RCA/PFMEA actions. Has a strong problem solving skill sets and drive teams in the functional areas to impact and change way of working. Should Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities of teams. Will be Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role.

The role is for responsibility of complete Quality processes from In process, Assembly, drying process, testing, packing inspections, Outgoing inspections and Customer after sales management for products CT, CVT and EMVT of all ratings. This includes reviews with teams on ensuring RCA(8D/PSR) for all internal/external NCs/customer NCs , establishing L1 and L2 controls, conducting and organizing PFMEAs and regular audits of manufacturing process. Involves in Quality KPIs tracking, monitoring and reporting. Implementation of all Quality improvement actions in lines along with teams based on RCA/PFMEA actions. Has a strong problem solving skill sets and drives team in the functional areas to impact and change way of working. Roles and Responsibilities

• Role requires complete responsibility of Quality activities and the teams involved from in process, Assembly and Drying process, testing, packing inspections, outgoing inspections and ensuring RCA and implementation of corrective actions for all customer site related issues.
• The role requires conducting of product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. This includes reviews with teams on ensuring RCA(8D/PSR) for all internal/external NCs/customer NCs in quality suite and implementation of CAPA based on the RCA. Ensure all L1 and L2 controls in shop floor , conducting and organizing PFMEAs and regular audits of manufacturing process
• Involves in Quality KPIs tracking, monitoring and reporting and should have a strong data analytics and reporting skills.
• Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards innovative solutions, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of Quality standards ( ISO 9001, TQM, Six sigma etc) Experience with customer audits, third party audits, Factory qualification/homologation and liasing with customer for product/part approvals. Uses judgment to make decisions or solve complex tasks or problems in areas of operation. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

Experience/Education

• Should have Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and preferably a Masters/MBA in Operations/Quality.
• Professional certifications: Six Sigma ( Green/Black belt) and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
• 8 to 15 years of experience in Quality Assurance/quality control and preferably within a switchgear/Electrical equipment industry.
