Job Description

Analyze key US direct tax issues, including sourcing and income characterization To perform FTP and RTP activities (foreign tax packs) To perform tax account reconciliation with payments, provisions and fin48 adjustments. Good understanding of deferred tax assets and liabilities and adjustment towards temporary and permanent tax adjustments. Review of existing income tax compliance process, and, together with the US Tax Team, develop recommendations to efficiently manage compliance Assist in identifying information required for quarterly and annual tax provision, and working with outside service provider and the Sr. Tax Manager in preparing the provision and related documentation Interface with Corp Finance to reflect Tax results in various modeling exercises Assist in Preparation of US local, state, and federal corporate tax returns and non-US Corporate tax returns Responsible for monthly updates of cash tax schedules and various reports provided to accounting Review and approve monthly tax account reconciliations and account rollforwards Complete domestic, international, and specialty tax research as assigned Oversee the maintenance of tax software by rolling data over from year to year and reconciling uploaded data to source documents Assist with general departmental administrative matters Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills



Demonstrate proficiency in Word and Excel Knowledge of SharePoint and other Microsoft applications is a plus Demonstrate proficiency in on-line tax research applications such as BNA Knowledge of Income Tax Law, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), preferred Excellent decision-making, problem-solving skills Results oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills and ability to work independently Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels throughout the organization
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments, work with little supervision, and work well under pressure
