As aSr Manager Software Development Supply Chain, you will lead a team of Managers/Product Managers, Product Owners and Engineers responsible for the analysis, architecture, design, and delivery of Supply Chain technology solutions across T-Mobiles distribution, logistics, inventory, and procurement domains.
This role leads a team of full stack software engineers to deliver end-to-end software solutions that support organizational objectives. It involves managing team operations, collaborating with IT partners, and overseeing software deployment and maintenance activities. The role emphasizes fostering team development through coaching, technical guidance, and aligning work with individual skills and interests. Success is measured by the team's ability to deliver high-quality software efficiently while managing technical debt and supporting career growth. The work impacts the organization by enabling reliable software solutions and enhancing team capabilities to meet business needs.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise, supply chain domain knowledge, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP solution development background, and a forward-looking mindset to lead 10-15 full-time team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:

• Collaborate with recruiting partners to identify and onboard candidates, ensuring a balanced mix of talent and experience
• Recruit and onboard qualified managers and team members to strengthen team capabilities and project delivery
• Lead and grow a team of software engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Coach engineers to grow technically and professionally through career development plans.
• Engage with team members to solicit feedback and improve management and leadership practices
• Manage multiple software development teams to deliver projects on time and within budget through effective leadership and coaching
• Foster data and AI-driven cultureencouraging experimentation, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Foster a strong team culture focused on innovation, accountability, and excellence.
• Partner with recruitment to attract and retain top engineering talent in India.
• Also responsible for other duties/projects assigned by business management as needed

Collaboration & Execution:

• Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, and partner engineering teams globally to define and execute technical roadmaps.
• Coordinate closely with IT partner teams to support multiple initiatives and ensure alignment
• Translate strategic business goals into high-quality, scalable backend services.
• Ensure continuous delivery of secure, maintainable, and performant systems.
• Champion operational excellence, automation, and proactive monitoring.
• Contribute to Supply Chain release planning, architecture discussions, and platform modernization efforts.
• Oversee technical vendor relationships to incorporate feature requests and enhance product functionality

Technical Leadership:

• Drive the design and implementation of resilient, scalable cloud-native services.
• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps in collaboration with design and enterprise architecture teams
• Lead architecture evolution in line with enterprise data and AI strategies.
• Promote continuous improvement in engineering practices, code quality, and technical excellence.
• Make architectural and technical decisions that set long-term direction and velocity.
• Monitor and advocate for the reduction of technical debt to maintain software quality and sustainability
• Manage staffing, performance, and professional development aligned with T-Mobile's Supply Chain strategic priorities.

Program & Project Management:

• Manage concurrent initiatives, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Identify risks early and resolve dependencies across distributed teams.
• Maintain high clarity and communication across cross-functional and global teams.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (masters preferred).
• 12+ years of experience in software development, with 5+ years in engineering leadership roles.
• 5+ years experience with full-stack development (Java, Angular, JSP, Oracle SQL/MS SQL, Kubernetes, API Gateways), extensive experience in building and managing APIs, MicroServices, and Relational/Non-Relational DBs.
• 3+ years experience managing design/development of applications and services in an Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Platform, integrating with 3rd party partners and with backend financial, loan-lease, billing and accounting applications.

Experience designing and developing solutions involving one or more of the modules below from the Oracle Fusion Cloud Platform:

• Inventory Management (org design, valuation, transactions)
• Order Management (orchestration, fulfillment, AR integration)
• Procurement (PO, SSP, approvals, accruals)
• Cost Management (cost books, SLA, COGS, period close)
• Supply & Demand Planning (ATP/CTP, GOP, forecast consumption)
• Manufacturing (work definitions, WIP, costing integration)
• Shipping & Receiving execution
• Product Information Management (item lifecycle, governance)
• Supplier Management (qualification, portals)
• Proven success in building and managing high-performing global teams.
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern DevOps practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions.
• Strong track record of delivering complex enterprise systems in production environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep expertise in microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Strong experience with K8S, Java, Python, SQL, Splunk, and Grafana.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub), observability, and operational tooling.
• Experience designing high-resilience systems and backend platforms supporting Supply Chain applications.
• Exposure to AI/ML system and AI agent integration is a strong plus.
