Job Purpose:



Drive a sales operations team to achieve both individual and team targets, ensuring Tech Data always delivers the highest level of service to our customers.

Responsibilities:



The role involves managing a large Pan Country team of sales specialist to assist field teams in managing partner requirements. It involves coordinating with business partners ,internal Sales teams and other stake holders to ensure timely management of Quote to Order process. This involves creation and submission of quotes, creating Sales Orders and coordination with the P.O, Credit and compliance teams for timely order processing ,in line with the process laid down for the same.

The job entails coordination with internal and external stake holders to ensure efficiency, correctness and excellent user experience

  • Coordinating with sales management to identify and optimize non touch sales processes through the tools already in place.
  • Ensure the sales operations teams are working within the service level agreement as defined by Tech Data and/or the relevant Business Unit, their customers and partners.
  • Drive performance within the team, by setting, measuring, and managing against individual and team targets
  • Work with other departments to identify process improvements and help define, implement, and deliver efficiency back into sales and our partners
  • Identify training needs within the team to support customer specific processes, specialist product training knowledge or system knowledge on a continual basis.
  • Ensure the highest possible quality of service, and manage issues and escalations in a timely manner to ensure early resolution
  • Maintain regular external contact with our customers and key contacts to ensure service levels are met
Qualification Knowledge Skills and Experience:
  • Post Graduate degree in Commerce /IT/Business is preferred
  • Sound understanding of ERP - preferably SAP
  • Experience of working with a CRM system
  • Relevant work experience of 10-12 years in IT Industry
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience in leading large teams
  • Having experience in customer/sales management is desirable
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, v-look up and macros
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
  • Relationship building internally and with customers .Analyze and resolve complex issues and problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Constructively work under pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Willingness to embrace change
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business (verbal, written and face-to-face)
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
