Inviting applications for the role of

Sr. Manager Retail - Article & Vendor Ops

In this role, the Leader will be responsible for Managing all the metrics related to Article and Vendor Onboarding. This person will be responsible for driving efficiency, accuracy and standardisation across all the categories. Collaboration with cross functional team will be one of the top priorities.

Responsibilities

Article & Vendor Operations:

End-to-end management of vendor onboarding, documentation, and compliance verification

Manage a team of Analysts responsible for article setup in retail systems (SAP), ensuring accurate product master data (pricing, pack sizes, UoM, tax, attributes, hierarchies, etc.)

Handle vendor queries, escalations, and follow-ups to ensure timely resolution.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive operational efficiency

Provide insights from vendor and product data to support merchandising, stock planning, and decision-making

Participate in process improvements, system updates, and retail operations projects

Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and quality standards in vendor and retail processes

Support inventory alignment, stock planning, and smooth product launches

Work on projects to improve process and business metrics

Work closely CSC1 Partner to drive CSL/KPIs

Monitor vendor performance in collaboration with Sourcing (OTIF, fill rate, quality issues)

Support strategic vendor rationalization and consolidation initiatives.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's/ master's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

Relevant & proven years of experience in Retail inventory or replenishment management.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Leadership in multiple roles in Retail.

Managing Business & Operational KPIs

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Proficient in various Microsoft suite & analytical tools (MS Excel, MS Power Platform, Python etc)

Proficient in various Merchandising tools and concepts.

Ability to lead a team and work independently as well.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Communicate effectively & build rapport with Client Leadership Team
