Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic sourcing and procurement of raw materials, bought-out items, and services required for heavy fabrication projects. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure the best commercial terms. Ensure timely procurement to meet production schedules. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and planning teams. Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service. Prepare cost comparison statements and purchase justifications. Lead a team of purchase executives and ensure their performance meets department KPIs. Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and procedures. Work closely with accounts for timely vendor payments and resolution of disputes.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

B.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering) is preferred. Minimum 10-15 years of experience in purchase/procurement in heavy fabrication or engineering industry. Strong knowledge of steel, hardware, machining components, and fabrication-related bought-outs. Good understanding of commercial terms, taxation, and logistics. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / any ERP preferred).

Salary Range:

?15 - 18 Lakhs per annum (Based on experience and skills)

Pay: ?100,000.00 - ?1,500,000.00 per month
