within the Engineering & Construction domain. This role is focused on the design and delivery of infrastructure for
Retail Outlets
including
Gasoline Stations, CNG, LCNG, LNG Stations, EV Charging Stations, CBG Plants, Data Centres, ETPs, and Hydrogen Refining Stations
.
As a
Sr. Manager / AGM / DGM
, you will play a key role in driving growth, optimizing P&L performance, and leading business development for nationwide project operations. The ideal candidate will have a mix of strategic business acumen, technical understanding, and hands-on leadership in EPC or industrial infrastructure domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Strategy:
Identify new business opportunities in CBG plants, LNG terminals, EPC infrastructure, and renewable/clean energy projects
Lead client engagement, government liaison, and strategic partnerships
Drive bid strategy, tender submissions, and contract negotiations
Monitor competitive landscape and contribute to diversification strategy
Represent the organization in industry forums and investor discussions
Project Execution & Operations:
Oversee complete project lifecycle - from planning and bidding to execution and closure
Manage timelines, quality, safety, and compliance benchmarks
Resolve project-related escalations and risks
Supervise contract administration, billing, and claims resolution
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks
P&L and Financial Ownership:
Full ownership of revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and cash flow targets
Track and optimize budget, costs, and profitability
Ensure performance against strategic and annual business plans
Stakeholder & Team Leadership:
Liaise with government bodies, consultants, clients, and vendors
Present business performance reports to senior management or board
Lead multi-disciplinary teams across functions like engineering, procurement, finance
Mentor, develop, and retain high-performing teams
Key Competencies:
Strategic thinking with strong commercial and financial acumen
In-depth understanding of EPC/turnkey project execution
Financial modeling and project accounting expertise
Strong decision-making under pressure
High-impact leadership and stakeholder management
Qualifications & Experience:
B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or related field (Mandatory)
MBA in Finance, Operations, or Strategy (Preferred)
18-20+ years of relevant experience in Engineering/Infrastructure/EPC
Minimum 3 years in a P&L ownership or senior leadership role
Strong knowledge of project tools like MS Projects, Lean, Agile, Excel
Familiarity with BOCW Act and industry compliance standards
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Willingness to travel across project locations as per business needs
